Are you an experienced construction Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality public infrastructure? We’re seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of construction projects in the public sector, with a key focus on educational buildings—including schools, colleges, and community learning facilities.

This is a chance to take ownership of meaningful work that directly supports the development of local communities and educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of construction projects from concept to completion.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple concurrent public sector builds.
• Liaise with contractors, architects, engineers, and government stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects meet safety standards, planning regulations, and sustainability targets.
• Conduct site visits, chair progress meetings, and oversee construction milestones.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, keeping senior stakeholders fully informed.
• Ensure that all works align with the needs of educational users and public sector clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering public sector construction projects, ideally in education (e.g. new builds, refurbishments, or expansions of schools or colleges).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and procurement procedures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and tight timelines.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
