Job Description:

4LEAF is seeking a full-time Marketing Assistant with excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven experience in marketing content management, and strong project management, time management, and organizational skills. Working in a collaborative environment, the Marketing Assistant will focus on proposal development and management of related marketing content.

The ideal person for this position will have a passion for marketing and will be able to create a professional and efficient marketing environment. The Marketing Assistant produces and ensures delivery of top quality, on-time and effective proposals, qualification packages, presentations, etc. Assists the overall pursuit process to ensure that the overall theme, technical scope, staff qualifications, and project experience are accurate, up to date, well written, and graphically pleasing. Assists with the development, design, coordination, production, editing, proofing, and delivery of high-quality submittals and accompanying marketing materials. Provides the initial mock-up of proposals, presentations, and other marketing activities to the Proposal Manager in an accurate and timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Content and Data Management

  • Assist subject matter experts with the creation of reusable marketing information for use in proposals and other media.
  • Through fact-checking, version control and related quality control functions, maintain the accuracy and currency of proposal content and other marketing information including staff qualifications, project descriptions, value messaging, client data, photographs, and graphical elements.
  • Assist with the development and/or implementation of internal software tools and processes to maintain the accuracy and integrity of all marketing content and data.
  • Maintain Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe InDesign templates.

Other Marketing Responsibilities

  • Coordinate marketing events, sponsorships, and use of promotional materials.
  • Assist with the development of marketing communications projects including print collateral, advertising, web site content, email messaging/campaigns, social media, and presentations.
  • Update marketing tracking systems and records.
  • Maintain inventory of proposal production materials, marketing collateral, and promotional items.
  • Perform competitive research as directed.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Marketing, Journalism or Communications.
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably for B2B or B2G professional services.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, self-starting, and proactive.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong editing and content organization abilities.
  • Business and technical writing experience combined with creative and persuasive writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook)
  • Experience with Microsoft Word templates, themes, styles, and advanced formatting functions.
  • Experience with maintaining digital assets and marketing data utilizing CRM software.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Competitive salaried position starting at $68,640 - $78,100 (Based on Experience)
