Title: Learning Specialist

Type: 3-Month Contract (with potential to extend and/or convert to perm) / Hybrid

Hours: Full-time Hours (PST)

Location : Seattle, WA (1 day a week on-site in Seattle - on Tuesdays)

Hourly/Contract Rate: $52 - $55/hour, depending on experience.

Summary:

We’re looking for an Instructional Designer / Learning Specialist to support organizational learning goals by designing and developing engaging training solutions across various delivery formats. In this role, you’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, build curriculum, and focus on delivering high-quality, inclusive learning experiences that empower our contact center teams and enhance the service we deliver to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop engaging, high-impact learning solutions for contact center and customer care teams, with a focus on real-world application and measurable performance outcomes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), team leads, and business stakeholders to identify training needs and translate complex content into effective, learner-centered experiences.
• Partner strategically across Human Resources to align curriculum development with organizational talent, performance, and engagement strategies.
• Ensure learning solutions are inclusive, accessible, and grounded in adult learning and instructional design best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience designing and developing training, ideally for contact center, customer care, or service-oriented teams.
• Proven ability to create blended learning solutions, including eLearning, instructor-led (virtual and in-person), and performance support tools.
• Proficiency with instructional design models such as ADDIE or SAM, and strong knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Skilled in using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, or similar platforms.
